San Francisco Redevelopment Agency

The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency was a government organization responsible for revitalizing and improving designated areas of the city through urban renewal projects. In 2012, redevelopment agencies across California were dissolved, and their assets and responsibilities were transferred to local governments to ensure ongoing community development efforts continue under local control.
