SAMR Model
The SAMR Model is a framework that helps educators integrate technology into teaching. It has four levels: Substitution (tech replaces traditional tools without change), Augmentation (tech adds functional improvements), Modification (tech allows significant task redesign), and Redefinition (tech enables creation of new, previously impossible tasks). Moving through these levels helps enhance learning by gradually increasing the use of technology to improve teaching and student engagement, from simple substitution to transformative experiences.
