SAML

SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an open standard that enables secure sharing of user authentication and authorization information between different systems or organizations. It allows a user to log in once (single sign-on) and access multiple services without needing to remember multiple passwords. When a user tries to access a service, SAML facilitates a trusted exchange of verified identity information between the user's identity provider (who manages login) and the service provider (the application or website). This streamlines access, improves security, and simplifies management of user credentials across interconnected systems.
