Samanid Dynasty

The Samanid Dynasty (819–999 AD) was a Persian-led ruling family that governed parts of Central Asia and Iran during the Islamic Golden Age. Known for revitalizing Persian culture, language, and arts, they promoted learning, literature, and trade. The Samanids played a key role in restoring Persian identity after Arab conquests and helped lay the groundwork for future Persian empires. Their capital was Bukhara, a major cultural and commercial center. The dynasty was respected for its administrative organization, support of scholars, and fostering a flourishing period of cultural and economic development in the region.
