Salton's Law

Salton's Law states that as the number of impressions a webpage receives increases, the number of clicks it gets tends to increase proportionally, but the click-through rate (CTR)—the ratio of clicks to impressions—typically decreases. In other words, the more people see a link, the more total clicks there are, but each individual impression is less likely to result in a click. This reflects the idea that as a content gains exposure, its appeal may reach a saturation point, leading to diminishing returns on engagement per impression.
