Salish

Salish refers to a group of Indigenous peoples and their languages primarily located in the Pacific Northwest of North America, including parts of British Columbia, Washington, and Montana. The Salish peoples share cultural similarities and speak related languages known as Salishan languages. These languages belong to a larger language family and are important for maintaining their cultural identities.
