Saint Stanislaus

Saint Stanislaus was a 11th-century Polish bishop known for his bravery and moral integrity. He stood against corruption and defended the church's teachings when faced with political pressure, even risking his own life. He is remembered for his unwavering commitment to justice, which ultimately led to his martyrdom in 1079. Canonized as a saint, he is regarded as a symbol of righteousness and moral courage in Poland and the Church. His feast day is celebrated on April 11.
