Safeguarding Adults Boards

Safeguarding Adults Boards (SABs) are collaborative groups that work together to protect adults who may be at risk of harm, such as abuse, neglect, or exploitation. They bring together local organizations like social services, health services, and law enforcement to share information, develop policies, and coordinate efforts. The goal is to ensure that vulnerable adults live safely, with support systems in place to prevent harm and respond effectively if concerns arise. SABs promote a united, strategic approach to safeguarding, ensuring that adults in the community receive consistent and effective protection.
