Safe Sleep Guidelines
Safe sleep guidelines are designed to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related dangers. To follow these, always place your baby on their back to sleep, use a firm mattress with a fitted sheet, and keep the sleep area free of soft bedding, pillows, and toys. The infant should sleep alone in a safety-approved crib or bassinet in a shared room but not on sofas or sofas. Keep the room at a comfortable temperature to prevent overheating. Supervised tummy time when awake is also recommended to promote development.
