Sabretooth
Sabretooth, often called Smilodon, was a prehistoric predator known for its large, elongated canine teeth, resembling a saber. Living around 2.5 million to 10,000 years ago, it was a big cat, similar in size to a modern lion or tiger, but with a stockier build. Sabretooth likely hunted large herbivores such as mammoths and bison by ambushing and delivering powerful bites. Its impressive teeth and muscular body made it a formidable predator of Ice Age ecosystems, and fossils have been found in North and South America.
