Sabra (historical Palestinian village)
Sabra was a small Palestinian village located in present-day Israel's Galilee region. Historically, it was a rural community with agriculture as its main livelihood, inhabited mainly by Arab villagers. In 1948, during the Arab-Israeli conflict, many villages like Sabra were depopulated as residents fled or were displaced amid ongoing tensions and warfare. Today, Sabra is part of the Israeli city of Haifa, with its original village structures largely replaced or integrated into the urban landscape. The site carries historical significance, representing the broader patterns of Palestinian displacement and the complex history of the Israeli-Palestinian region.
