Sabattical
A sabbatical is a period of time—often several months to a year—during which an individual takes a break from their regular job or responsibilities. This time is typically used for personal development, research, travel, or rest. In academia, sabbaticals are common, allowing professors to focus on scholarly projects or rejuvenate their teaching methods. The concept can also apply in various fields, offering employees a chance to gain new perspectives, learn new skills, or simply recharge, ultimately benefiting both the individual and their organization when they return to work.
