Sabaeans
The Sabaeans were an ancient civilization located in the southwest Arabian Peninsula, primarily in the region that is now Yemen. They thrived from around the 10th century BCE to the 5th century CE, known for their impressive achievements in agriculture, trade, and architecture. The Sabaean people developed a unique writing system and were famous for their prosperous trade routes, connecting them to regions like Africa and the Mediterranean. Their religion centered on the worship of a moon god, Almaqah. The fall of the Sabaean kingdom was influenced by economic and environmental factors, leading to its eventual decline.
