Sa'i

Sa'i is a ritual performed by Muslims during the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, symbolizing Hagar’s search for water for her son Ishmael in the desert. It involves walking briskly back and forth seven times between the two small hills of Safa and Marwah within the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. This act commemorates resilience and faith, emphasizing trust in God's provision. The pilgrimage’s purpose is spiritual reflection, connection to Islamic history, and reaffirming devotion. Many pilgrims undertake Sa'i as an important and transformative part of their sacred journey, experiencing a profound sense of community and spiritual renewal.
