Sāṃkhya philosophy

Sāṃkhya is an ancient Indian philosophy that explores the nature of reality by distinguishing between consciousness (Purusha) and material creation (Prakriti). It describes the universe as arising from the interaction of these two principles, with Prakriti composed of various elements and energies that evolve into everything we see. Purusha is pure awareness, untouched by change, while Prakriti is dynamic and changeable. The goal is to realize the separation of Purusha from Prakriti, leading to liberation (moksha) by understanding the true nature of oneself and the universe.
