Ryu Seong-ryong

Ryu Seong-ryong (1542–1607) was a prominent Korean scholar, politician, and army official during the Joseon Dynasty. He's best known for serving as a Prime Minister and playing a key role in defending Korea during the Japanese invasions of 1592–1598 (Imjin War). Ryu was celebrated for his strategic leadership, dedication to Confucian principles, and efforts to strengthen national unity and military resilience.
