Rutte II cabinet

The Rutte II cabinet was the Dutch government formed from 2012 to 2017, led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte. It was a coalition of four political parties: the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, the Labour Party, the Christian Democratic Appeal, and Democrats 66. This government managed economic reforms, welfare policies, and foreign relations during a period of economic recovery following the financial crisis. Rutte II focused on reducing the budget deficit, reforming healthcare and social security, and addressing immigration issues. It aimed for stability and pragmatic policies, navigating complex political terrains while maintaining continuity in Dutch governance.
