Rutte I cabinet
The Rutte I cabinet was the Dutch government formed in 2010, led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte. It was a coalition of three political parties—VVD, CDA, and PVV—working together to govern the Netherlands. This coalition focused on austerity measures to reduce the national deficit and aimed to stimulate economic growth following the financial crisis. The government also addressed immigration and law enforcement issues. Rutte I lasted until 2012, when internal disagreements led to its resignation, prompting new elections. It was notable for its approach to fiscal responsibility and coalition management in a multi-party parliamentary system.
