Ruth K. McGinnis

Ruth K. McGinnis was an American chess player active in the early to mid-20th century. She was notably one of the few women competing at a high level during her time and made significant contributions to promoting chess among women. Although not widely known outside chess circles, her achievements helped challenge gender stereotypes in competitive chess and inspired future generations of female players.
