Russian Imperial Crown
The Russian Imperial Crown was a ceremonial and symbolic crown used during the coronation of Russian emperors, most famously the Crown of Nicholas I. Made of gold, precious stones, and enamel, it represented imperial authority and divine right. The crown's design includes a double-headed eagle motif, reflecting Russia’s status as the "Third Rome." Although it was not regularly worn in daily life, it was used in grand ceremonies to legitimize the ruler's power and reinforce the grandeur of the Russian Empire. Today, it remains a significant symbol of Russia's imperial history.
