Russian Federation Armed Forces

The Russian Federation Armed Forces is the national military of Russia, responsible for defending the country's sovereignty and interests. It consists of five branches: the Ground Forces (army), Navy, Aerospace Forces (air and space operations), Airborne Troops (paratroopers), and Strategic Missile Troops (nuclear forces). The military also includes various support and specialized units. It operates a wide range of weapons and technology, including tanks, submarines, fighter jets, and nuclear missiles. The armed forces conduct defense, strategic deterrence, and international peacekeeping missions, and are overseen by the Ministry of Defense.
