Russell's Diagrams

Russell's Diagrams are visual tools created by philosopher Bertrand Russell to represent logical relationships among concepts or classes. They use circles and lines to illustrate how different ideas or categories intersect, overlap, or are distinct from one another. For example, a circle might represent all animals, and a smaller circle inside could represent dogs, showing that dogs are a subset of animals. These diagrams make abstract logical or set relationships easier to understand by providing a clear visual picture of how concepts relate, overlap, or exclude one another. They are useful in logic, mathematics, and philosophy for clarifying complex relationships.
