Rural Proletariat
The rural proletariat refers to landless or small-scale farmers and agricultural workers in rural areas who primarily depend on low-wage labor for their livelihood. They often do not own significant land or resources and may work for landowners or larger farms. This group is distinct from wealthier landowners and is generally characterized by economic vulnerability, limited access to education and healthcare, and reliance on manual labor. Their role is crucial in agricultural economies, but they often face social and economic challenges that restrict upward mobility.
