Rugby Football
Rugby Football is a team sport played with an oval ball, where two teams of 15 players compete to score points by carrying or kicking the ball into the opponent’s goal area, called a try. The game involves tackling, passing, and strategic play, requiring both strength and teamwork. Progression toward scoring is assisted by running with the ball, passing sideways or backward, and kicking. Rugby emphasizes fair play, physicality, and skill, with the team achieving the most points over the course of the match declared the winner. It is played globally and has two main variations: Rugby Union and Rugby League.
