RPGs (role-playing games)
Role-playing games (RPGs) are interactive games where players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting. Participants create or choose characters with specific traits and abilities, navigating through stories guided by a game master (GM) or rules. Players make decisions, solve challenges, and engage in combat, often using dice to determine outcomes. RPGs can be played in person with groups, using books and guides, or online through digital platforms. They encourage creativity, storytelling, and collaboration, allowing players to immerse themselves in different worlds and narratives. Popular examples include Dungeons & Dragons and various video game RPGs.
