Royal Palace, Oslo
The Royal Palace in Oslo is the official residence of the Norwegian monarch. Located at the end of Karl Johans Gate, it was built in the early 19th century and features neoclassical architecture. The palace is used for state ceremonies, official functions, and royal events. It has a grand facade, richly decorated interiors, and sprawling gardens. While the monarch does not live there full-time, it remains a symbol of Norway's monarchy and national heritage. During the summer, parts of the palace and gardens are open to the public for guided tours.
