Rowing Technique

Rowing technique involves a smooth, coordinated movement across four main phases: the catch, drive, finish, and recovery. During the catch, you position yourself forward with knees bent. In the drive, push with your legs while maintaining a straight back, engaging your core and pulling the handle toward your torso. At the finish, your legs are extended, and you've pulled the handle to your chest. The recovery phase involves reversing the motion slowly and controlled, sliding back to the start position. Proper technique maximizes power, efficiency, and minimizes injury risk by ensuring smooth, rhythmic movement.
