Route Aggregation

Route aggregation is a networking technique that combines multiple smaller IP address ranges into a single, larger route. This simplifies routing tables by reducing the number of entries a router must process, improving efficiency and performance. Instead of managing many individual routes, routers can handle one aggregated route, which covers all the smaller ones within it. This helps in better network management, easier updates, and more scalable internet infrastructure, especially as networks grow and change over time.
