Root
A root is the part of a plant that typically grows underground, anchoring the plant and absorbing water and nutrients from the soil. In mathematics, a root refers to a value that, when substituted into a specific function or equation, makes it true or results in zero. Essentially, it’s the solution or "answer" that balances an equation. Both concepts involve foundational elements—roots in plants support the plant’s growth, while roots in math are the fundamental solutions to equations.
