Ronald McNair was an American physicist and NASA astronaut, known for his dedication to science and exploration. Born in 1950, he earned a Ph.D. in physics and became an accomplished researcher. McNair was selected to join NASA's space shuttle program and flew aboard the Challenger in 1986. His mission contributed to scientific experiments in space. Tragically, he died in the Challenger disaster that same year, which claimed all seven crew members. McNair is remembered as a symbol of perseverance, intellectual achievement, and the pursuit of knowledge beyond Earth.
