Romantik

Romantik, or Romanticism, is a cultural movement from the late 18th to early 19th century that emphasized emotion, imagination, and individual experience over logic and tradition. It valued personal feelings, nature, and the sublime, often expressing a yearning for freedom and the inner self. Artists, writers, and composers sought to evoke deep emotional responses, celebrating beauty and the mysterious aspects of life. Romanticism was a reaction against the Enlightenment’s emphasis on reason, highlighting intuition and spirituality as central to human experience.
