RoHS

RoHS, which stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances, is a European Union regulation aimed at reducing the environmental impact and health risks of electronic products. It restricts the use of certain dangerous materials, such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and specific flame retardants, in the manufacturing of electronic and electrical equipment. By doing so, RoHS helps ensure products are safer for consumers, workers, and the environment, both during production and at the end of their life cycle. Many countries outside the EU have adopted similar standards to promote safer electronic practices worldwide.
