Rohingya refugees
The Rohingya refugees are members of the Rohingya ethnic group, primarily Muslim, who have faced severe persecution in Myanmar’s Rakhine State. Due to violence, discrimination, and military crackdowns, many Rohingya have fled their homes to seek safety in neighboring countries like Bangladesh, India, and Malaysia. They often live in overcrowded camps or informal settlements, facing challenges such as lack of basic services, legal recognition, and safety. The crisis has garnered international attention, highlighting issues of human rights, statelessness, and the need for humanitarian aid and long-term solutions.
