Rock Against Racism (organization)

Rock Against Racism (RAR) was a social movement founded in 1976 in the UK to oppose racism and promote anti-racist attitudes through music. It emerged in response to rising racial tensions and the rise of far-right groups, using concerts and cultural events featuring popular bands to challenge prejudice and discrimination. RAR aimed to unite diverse communities through shared cultural experiences, foster inclusivity, and raise awareness about racial injustice.
