Robocall

A robocall is an automated phone call made using computer software to deliver a recorded message. These calls are often used for marketing, surveys, or alerts. While some robocalls are legitimate, many are unsolicited and can be intrusive or deceptive, often associated with scams or unwanted telemarketing. They do not involve a live person speaking; instead, a prerecorded message is played when the call is answered.
