Robert Plutchik
Robert Plutchik was a psychologist known for his work on human emotions. He proposed that emotions are fundamental, automatic responses that help us survive, and they exist in eight primary types: joy, sadness, anger, fear, trust, surprise, anticipation, and disgust. These emotions can blend to form more complex feelings and vary in intensity. Plutchik visualized this with a "Wheel of Emotions," showing how emotions relate and how they change with different situations. His model helps us better understand emotional responses and the complexity of human experience.
