Robert E. Lee (ship)

The Robert E. Lee was a British ocean-going cargo ship built in 1948. Named after the Confederate general, it was designed to carry goods across the Atlantic. Dimensions varied, but it was roughly 150 meters long. Over the years, it transported various cargoes for different owners. In 1969, it was renamed Eva B. and later served commercial purposes until being retired and scrapped in the late 20th century. The ship's name reflects historical naming trends, but it was primarily a working vessel, representing mid-20th-century maritime trade.
