Riverboat

A riverboat is a flat-bottomed vessel designed for navigating rivers and shallow waters. Historically, they were used for transportation, trade, and travel along waterways, especially in regions where road or rail infrastructure was limited. Typically powered by steam engines or modern engines, riverboats can carry passengers, goods, or both. They are characterized by their large, open decks and shallow draft, which allows them to access areas that bigger ships cannot reach. Today, riverboats are often used for tourism and leisure cruises, providing scenic views and cultural experiences along various river routes.
