Rigid Airship
A rigid airship is a type of large, steerable aircraft that maintains its shape through a lightweight but strong metal frame, typically made of aluminum. The outer envelope holds the lifting gas, such as helium, which makes the airship buoyant. Unlike non-rigid airships (blimps), rigid airships have a structural skeleton that keeps the shape intact, allowing for larger sizes and extended flights. They can carry passengers, cargo, or equipment over long distances and are used for advertising, observation, and research. Their design ensures durability, stability, and the ability to be customized for various missions.
