Right ventricular lead

A right ventricular lead is a thin wire placed inside the heart to help manage irregular heartbeats. It is inserted into the right side of the heart, specifically into the right ventricle, which is one of the heart’s chambers responsible for pumping blood to the lungs. This lead connects to a device called a pacemaker or ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) and delivers electrical signals to ensure the heart beats regularly and effectively. It is a common and safe procedure used to improve heart function in patients with rhythm problems.
