Right Ventricle

The right ventricle is one of the heart's four chambers, responsible for pumping blood to the lungs. It receives oxygen-depleted blood from the right atrium and pushes it through the pulmonary artery to the lungs, where it gets oxygen. The right ventricle's muscle wall is thinner than the left because it doesn't need to generate as much force. Its efficient function is essential for proper oxygenation of blood, supporting overall cardiovascular health. Proper operation of the right ventricle ensures that oxygen-poor blood reaches the lungs and oxygen-rich blood can then be circulated throughout the body.
