RFIDs

RFID, or Radio Frequency Identification, is a technology that uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track objects or people. It consists of a small chip called a tag, which contains data, and a reader that emits radio waves to communicate with the tag. When within range, the reader captures the information stored on the tag without physical contact or line-of-sight. RFID is commonly used in inventory management, access control, and contactless payments, offering fast, reliable identification without manual scanning. It enhances efficiency by enabling quick data collection over a distance.
