RFID systems

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems use radio waves to identify and track objects automatically. An RFID system consists of a tag attached to an item, which contains a microchip and antenna, and a reader device that emits radio signals. When the reader sends out a signal, the tag responds by transmitting its stored information back to the reader. This technology enables quick, contactless identification without line-of-sight, making it useful for inventory management, access control, and supply chain tracking, improving efficiency and accuracy across various industries.
