RFID

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology that uses electromagnetic fields to identify and track objects wirelessly. It consists of a small electronic tag (or chip) attached to an item and a reader device that emits radio waves. When the reader’s signals reach the tag, the tag responds with stored information, such as product details or identification numbers. RFID is commonly used in inventory management, access control, and logistics, allowing quick, contactless identification without needing direct line-of-sight, making processes more efficient and accurate.
