Revisionist Zionism

Revisionist Zionism was a movement within Zionism that emerged in the 1920s, advocating for a more assertive approach to establishing a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Led by Ze'ev Jabotinsky, it emphasized the importance of strong defense, expanding the territory beyond the original British Mandate boundaries, and pursuing economic and political independence. Unlike earlier Zionists, who focused on peaceful negotiation and gradual settlement, Revisionists supported a more militant stance, including the possibility of armed resistance if necessary. Their vision contributed to shaping Israel's military policies and territorial boundaries in later years.
