Revelation (theology)

In theology, Revelation refers to the way God makes divine truth known to humans, often through sacred texts, prophets, or spiritual experiences. It is the process by which God's nature, will, and plan for creation are unveiled, providing guidance, insight, and understanding about the divine and human purpose. Revelation can be completed, as in the Christian belief that God's ultimate truth is revealed through Jesus Christ, or ongoing, where humans continue to grow in understanding through faith and spiritual insight. It underscores the idea that divine knowledge is communicated by God to help humans navigate life and their relationship with the divine.
