Retinal Neurons

Retinal neurons are specialized cells in the eye's retina that detect light and convert it into electrical signals. These signals are then sent to the brain, allowing us to perceive images. The main types include photoreceptors (rods and cones) that sense light and color, bipolar cells that relay signals, and ganglion cells that transmit visual information through the optic nerve. Together, these neurons work in a complex network to process visual details, brightness, and colors, enabling clear and detailed vision.
