Restoration Theology

Restoration Theology is a religious perspective that emphasizes restoring the original teachings and practices of Jesus Christ and His apostles. It believes that after the early church era, true Christianity was lost or corrupted over time. Therefore, Restorationists seek to return to the Bible’s teachings and God's original pattern for worship and doctrine. They see modern churches as having strayed and aim to restore the church's original purity, authority, and practices through ongoing revelation and study of scriptures, with the goal of uniting believers in a faith that closely resembles the early Christian church.
