Resting tremor

A resting tremor is an involuntary, rhythmic shaking that occurs when muscles are relaxed and not actively moving, often seen in conditions like Parkinson’s disease. It typically manifests as a pill-rolling movement of the fingers or a slight shaking in the hands, occurring when the person is at rest. This tremor tends to decrease or stop when the person starts moving or engaging in activity. It results from abnormal activity in the brain's movement control centers, affecting the smooth coordination of muscle movements.
