Respiratory symptoms

Respiratory symptoms are signs indicating issues with your lungs or airways. Common symptoms include coughing, which is a reflex to clear irritants; shortness of breath, meaning difficulty breathing or feeling unable to get enough air; wheezing, a high-pitched sound during breathing indicating airway narrowing; chest tightness, a sensation of constriction or pressure; and mucus production, such as phlegm or sputum. These symptoms can result from infections, allergies, asthma, or other lung conditions, and noting their characteristics helps healthcare providers diagnose and treat the underlying cause effectively.
